The Force Recon Platoon (FRP) element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31 MEU) Maritime Raid Force (MRF) assault a building, having been inserted by CH-46E Sea Knight helicopters, as part of a training evolution. The MRF is the 31st MEU's special operations arm and is capable of carrying out small scale special missions including non-compliant VBSS, maritime interdication operations and direct action raids.
