A US Army Special Forces 2-seater Lightweight Tactical All Terrain Vehicle prepares to load onto a waiting MH-47 Chinook helicopter operated by the Night Stalkers (160th SOAR).
The LTATV is an all terrain vehicle that can be easily transported in helicopters such as the Chinook, CH-53E Super Stallion and V-22 Osprey.
The vehicles are based on the Kawasaki Teryx 750 RUV and are in use throughout Special Operations Command (SOCOM).
