The MC-130H is a cargo aircraft operated by the 1st and 7th Special Operations Squadrons, Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC).
Combat Talons are based around the C-130 airframe and feature a number of additional equipment that facilitate its role as providing infiltration, exfiltration and re-supply of special operations forces.
These additional items of avionics include a multi-mode housed in the aircraft's nose, a FLIR pod in its chin and Nemeses Directional Infrared Counter Measures (DIRCM) at the tail-end of the fuselage.
