An AC-130 Spectre Gunship flown by USAF Special Operations banks over the ocean.
When engageing targets, the AC-130 will typically fly a counter-clockwise race track pattern which keeps its array of cannons, howitzers and gatling guns pointing towards the target area.
AC-130 Spectres are modified C-130 aircraft that have been outfitted with sophisiticated sensors and a fearsome array of guns mounted in its port fuselage.
They provide close air support to forces on the ground and typically work closely with Air Force Special Operations Combat Control Teams (CCTs) and TACPs.
