Pararescuemen with the 56th Rescue Squadron undergor combat rescue training. Video features Pararescuemen fast-roping down from a HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter to rescue personnel at the scene of a IED strike on a vehicle convoy.
The 56th Rescue Squadron is based at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, as part of the 48th Operations Group. The squadron conducts worldwide combat rescue operations and comprises of 5 HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters and 10 Pararescue specialists.
