AC-130u Spooky - Video

Footage featuring the AC-130u Spooky Gunship as operated by the 4th Special Operations Squadron (4th SOS). This clip shows the aircraft being prepped for take off, the aircraft in flight and views from inside the cabin as the crew monitor sensors and engage ground targets. The AC-130u Spooky features a 25mm gatling gun, 40mm bofors cannon and a 105mm howitzer. It is designed to circle high above the battlefield and rain down fire on enemy positions in support of conventional and special operations forces.
