Note the M240 7.62mmx51mm belt-fed machine guns mounted in the Huey's cabin doorways.
When mounted in helicopters, the M240 is often configured with its buttstock and pistol grip trigger replaced with a two-handed spade grip and trigger.
The 6th SOS no llonger operates the UH-1N Huey, having transitioned in late 2012 to the C-145A Sky Truck fixed-wing platform.
