Pararescumen are special operators with AFSOC Special Tactics Squadrons and Air Combat Command Rescue Squadrons.
Pararescuemen, or 'PJs', carry out medical assistance and personnel recovery operations, including combat search and rescue, humanitarian relief and astronaut recovery for NASA.
