A pair of 160th SOAR MH-60L Black Hawk helicopters, with a MH-47E Chinook behind them.
Visible in the Mh-60L's nose are the AN/APQ-174B Terrain Following Radar and the AN/AAQ-16D AESOP FLIR.
The AN/APQ-174B is a multi-mode radar that allows the helicopter to fly at low level in zero visibility.
The forward looking infrared (FLIR) also assists in flying in low light and low visibility conditions.
Such technology allows SOAR's Black Hawks and Chinooks to penetrate airspace at low level in adverse weather conidtions and at night.
