SEALs employ a range of techniques for boarding ships including the use of ladders fitted with grappling hooks and launched via a compressed-air launcher, collapsible ladders, fast-roping from helicopters and direct transfer from boats such as Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs).
