Police officers, including members of Yuba County Sheriff Department's Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team take cover behind a Peacekeeper armoured vehicle during an active shooter exercise.
The Yuba County SWAT team is comprised of a tactical element and crisis negotator team (CNT).
The tactical element includes a team leader, an entry team, a tactical medic and a sniper/observer unit.
The SWAT team is part of YUBA County Sheriff Department's Operations Division.
The team trains on a monthly basis to a California Police Officer Standards of Training (POST) level.
