The Lamar County SRT is a Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team that is responsible for resolving high risk civilian law enforcement scenarios such a executing high risk warrants and stopping active shooters.
The SRT operators pictured here are wearing goggles to protect against the training rounds fired by participants in the exercise.
Note the blue coloring of the SRT operator's M4 carbines and Glock pistols, indicating that they are configured to fire non-lethal rounds.
