A pair of USAF combat controller (CCT)s practice fire and maneuver procedures across desert ground.
Whilst not always intended for use as direct combat troops, USAF CCTs are still likely to come up against enemy forces, especially when establishing ad hoc airstrips in hostile territory or accompaning other SOF into action, and so must train accordingly.
Combat controllers are elite USAF airmen trained to survey and mark out airfields, marshall air traffic and act as joint terminal attack controllers (JTACs).
