A member of a U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Safety and Security Team (MSST) provides security during a simulated search of a vessel suspected of carrying components of weaponized chemical agents.
The MSST operator is wearing Personal Protective Equipment in the form of a Chemical/Biological (CB) Small Boat Anti-Exposure/Dry Suit.
This suit is made from a windproof, waterproof, and moisture-vapor-breathable laminated fabric that protects against chemical warfare agents and certain Toxic Industrial Compounds.
He is also wearing a M40 gas mask, impact gloves and a Ops Core ballistic helmet.
