The Special Reaction Team (SRT) is formed by specially-selected MPs who are trained and equipped to deal with extreme law enforcement scenarios at Fort Stewart.
These may include active shooters, barricaded suspects, hostage rescue and high risk warrant servings.
Fort Stewart is home to the 3d Infantry Division (Mechanized) and features a 280,000 acre training area .
