Maritime Raid Force - 31st MEU

Covered by a security element from Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, the Force Recon Platoon-comprised assault element of the 31st MEU's Maritime Raid Force (MRF) approaches a target building during a training exercise.
Note the BlackHawk Dynamic Entry Thundersledge hammer carried in a tube holster slung over the back of the Marine, front-right.
When taking down a building, the MRF assault element may use a number of breaching tools to gain entry, including sledge-hammers, bolt-cutters, battering rams and even shaped explosive charges.
