Special Warfare Combatant-craft crewmen (SWCC) from Special Boat Team 22 (SBT-22) fire M240 7.62mmx51mm machine guns mounted on a Special Operations Craft Riverine (SOC-R) during filming for a promotional video.
SWCC sailors employ the SOC-R along river networks in order to insert and extract U.S. Navy SEAL teams and other Special Operations Forces.
Armed to the teeth with machine guns and automatic grenade launchers, the SOC-R is purpose built for extracting troops while laying down a wall of fire.
