Airmen with the 27th Special Operations Security Forces Squadron Deployed Aircraft Ground Response Element (DAGRE) team prepare to enter a structure during a training mission.
DAGRE (pronounced 'Dagger') teams are detachments from Special Operations Security Forces Squadrons who provide force protection for Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) forces, such as Special Operations Squadrons, when they are deployed to high risk locations around the world.
In order to support AFSOC deployments, DAGRE operators undergo an extensive training program.
