Special Forces Dive Team

Special Forces soldiers, students on the Special Forces Combat Diver Qualification Course (SFCDQC), land at a beach aboard a combat rubber raiding craft (CRRC) inflatable.
The SFCDQC is a 7-week course run by the Special Forces Underwater Operations School at Key West, Florida which teaches a range of amphibious infiltration techniques such as SCUBA diving, small boat operations (CRRC & Kayak) and helocasting.
Green Berets who who complete the SFCDQC earn the Combat Diver Qualification Badge.
Within each Special Forces Company, there can be found a dive team / SCUBA team.
Manned by Combat-Diver-qualified Green Berets, the dive team is 12-man Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) that specialises in waterborne infiltration methods.
