The Green Berets are undergoing training at the Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance, Target Analysis, and Exploitation Techniques Course, (SFARTAETC) at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, Fort Bragg, N.

C, 2012.



SFARTAETC teaches Special Forces personnel in the techniques required by the CINCs In-Extremis Force (CIF) Company within a given Special Force Group (SFG).

SFARTAETC teaches: Combat weapons marksmanship, close quarters battle (CQB) and explosive and mechanical breaching.

Live weapons fire and assault tactics and techniques are conducted under simulated conditions using predetermined scenarios in/on specially configured structures/ranges.



The CIF Company within a Special Forces Group is tasked with training the counter terrorist (CT) teams of foreign militaries.
