U.S. Navy SEALs approach the shore in 2 Zodiac rubber boats.
Otherwise known as Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRC), Zodiacs are the boat of choice for covert over-the-horizon amphibious insertion operations.
Each CRRC can accomodate a fully-equipped 8-man SEAL squad.
Here, the squad has split into 2 4-man fire teams, with a boat each.
The boats are powered by an outboard motor at the rear, operated by a SEAL coxswain.
The CRRC, which is based on the F470, is made by Zodiac Milpro.
Other US SOF with an amphibious role also employ the CRRC, including Special Forces SCUBA teams, Reconnaissance Marines and Air Force Special Tactics Teams.
