Raider Spirit is a 2-week field exercise that focuses on small unit tactics such as patrolling and light infantry skills.
The exercise takes place during the 8-week 2nd phase of the Individual Training Course.
During the exercise the Marines operate as teams, using tactics and methods employed by Marine Special Operations Teams (MSOT).
Raider Spirit is just one of the many hurdles that must be overcome by Marines wanting to become a Critical Skills Operator (CSO).
