Special Weapons & Tactics Team

Wearing Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Personal Protective Equipment, members of the Salt Lake City Special Weapons & Tactics (SWAT) team enter a building during training.

SWAT teams are trained to deal with high risk law enforcement scenarios.

They will likely be among the first responders to a terrorist attack, including one involving weapons of mass destruction and hence are trained and equipped appropriately.
