A Force Recon Marine performs a helocast from the rear ramp of a USMC CH-53 Stallion helicopter.

Helocasting is a technique used by Special Operations Forces to quickly insert into the water.

Depending on mission requirements, an inflatable combat rubber raiding craft (CRRC) will also be slid out of the helicopter.

When the CRRC is helocasted fully inflated, this procedure is known as a 'Hard Duck'.

When the CRRC is partially deflated the procedure is called a 'Soft Duck'.
